Yan Xu
CEOYan's background combines engineering and management science to bring both a solid technology base and rich managerial experience. Yan was responsible in establishing M&Y’s two major delivery centres in 2001 and 2005 and has been the driving force behind the growth of the Chinese business to date. Yan like his co-founder, brings global experience to M&Y. A native of China, Yan studied and worked abroad in Australia before returning home to start the Chinese operations of M&Y. Yan is very active in professional organizations including holding the position of Vice Chairman of the Heilongjiang Provincial Association of Industry and Commerce, Vice Chairman of Heilongjiang Association of Youth Entrepreneurs and Vice Chairman of Heilongjiang Software Association. Yan has recently been awarded Outstanding Member of Heilongjiang CPPCC and was named the Top Youth Entrepreneur in Heilongjiang Province. Yan holds a Master of Commerce degree from University of New South Wales, Australia and a Bachelor of Information Systems Management from the North Eastern University, China.
Matthew Cule
Managing DirectorMatthew Cule, Managing Director of M&Y Global Services is responsible for growing M&Y’s international business which today includes Australia, U.K. and the U.S. Matthew, a true entrepreneur at heart, founded M&Y with his partner directly after receiving his Masters in Commerce in 2001. Matthew has travelled extensively during his career including studying abroad in Australia. His love of travel and international relations has played a key role in starting M&Y. Matthew understood the importance of a truly global operating model from the start. As a result, M&Y’s investment in onshore delivery management and personnel has been a key factor to the growth of the international business. Matthew has led M&Y’s growth to 2200+ employees, expanding its services from data capture to a breadth of BPO services and solutions across a wide range of industries. In July 2009, Matthew was named a "Rising Star" by Wales Business Insider which profiled the 25 most promising entrepreneurs in Wales. Matthew holds a Master of Commerce degree (specialising in Information Systems and Management) from the University of New South Wales, Australia and Bachelor of Arts Honours (specializing in Accounting and Finance) from the University of Leicester, UK.
Da Zhang
CIODa leads the Information Technology function at M&Y and has over 15 years of IT management experience in addition to 10 years of financial IT experience. Da also brings management expertise to M&Y including large IT team management, change management and client relationship development. Prior to joining M&Y, Da was Project Director for Digital China Financial Software Company, a leading IT services provider in the banking industry, where he managed 20 client projects. He also spent 5 years as a Senior Consultant at Copia Consulting Company Ltd., a consulting firm for Chinese and foreign firms where he built several IT banking systems. Da holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Beihang University, China and Graduated from the University of International Business and Economics, China with a Masters in Economics.
Yangsheng Meng
VP – OperationsAs M&Y's Vice President of Operations, Yansheng brings more than 11 years of experience in BPO operations and management. Yangsheng is a pioneer of BPO in China and has in-depth knowledge of business outsourcing workflow as well as BPO industry applications and best practices. Before joining M&Y, Yangsheng was the VP of Operations at Zhong Zhi Technology Ltd. where he delivered a BPO engagement worth 8m RMB in nine months. Prior to that, as VP Operations at North King, he was instrumental in boosting the company’s revenue by 300% within two years. Yangsheng holds a Bachelors degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University, China.
Ronda Yang
Director – Global DeliveryRonda leads M&Y’s delivery of all international projects, including onboarding new customers and managing transitions. During Ronda’s six year tenure at M&Y she has obtained a truly global perspective having worked in Australia, China and now the U.K. Ronda has extensive experience in the BPO industry holding various senior positions at M&Y. Most notable was her successful management of M&Y’s largest engagement which involved providing credit card processing to a joint venture between a leading global bank and one of China’s leading domestic banks. Prior to joining M&Y, Ronda held various manager positions at Nokia where she gained a solid background in technology and business management. Ronda holds a Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Central Queensland University, Australia.
Kathy Hou
Director – Human ResourcesKathy is in charge of M&Y's China HR Management and Development. With over 13 years of professional HR experience, Kathy brings comprehensive HR knowledge and advanced management practices in a broad range of HR practices. Her areas of expertise include HR strategy, HR systems, policy development, team building and organizational culture development. Prior to joining M&Y, Kathy worked for 5 years as a senior HR Manager for Bertelsmann, a BPO company based out of Germany. She also spent 3 years in the IT industry as an HR Manager for iLink and 5 years in the services industry working for Beijing Wangfujing Grand Hotel. Kathy holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Beijing Jing Hai Institute, China.
